St Thérèse leaves Portsmouth for Plymouth

As St Thérèse leaves Portsmouth for Plymouth here are some of the closing remarks from Canon David Hopgood, Dean of Portsmouth Cathedral:

“We celebrated a wonderful 24 hours!”

“..Our prayers will be with you (St Thérèse) as you go..”

“As the relics leave this place a candle will be lit in memory…We unite ourselves in prayer with our sisters and brothers across the country..”

“Lord, help us to follow the little way with St Thérèse in confidence..”

“The visit of the relics remind us of our vocation to love in the Church today..”

The relics of St Thérèse are now en-route to Plymouth.  Bishop Christopher Budd, Bishop of Plymouth, will be welcoming the relics at 4pm today in Plymouth Cathedral.
