Petitions for St Therese

Petitions for St Thérèse

St Thérèse has arrived at the Cathedral of St Mary & St Boniface in Plymouth.

Bishop Christopher Budd received the relics at the door of the Cathedral and ‘gave thanks to God who gives us such witnesses to guide us along our pilgrim way.’

Coaches filled with pilgrims have been arriving all day from Cornwall and Devon.

Abbi, 15, from Plymouth said: “It’s been a life changing experience. When I saw the chest, it took my breath away. I really enjoy seeing stuff like this – it makes you think more about God and heaven – you feel more at peace.”
