And they continued to come and pray before St Therese….

1, originally uploaded by Catholic Church (England and Wales).

Over six thousand pilgrims flocked to St Chad’s Cathedral on Sunday to pray before the relics of St Therese. A huge crowd packed into the Cathedral for each of the three Masses, the Devotions led by Religious, the Benediction and Evening Prayer. They had come to pray for others, to pray for themselves, to pray for the Church and for the world.

The Relics of St Therese leave St Chad’s Cathedral Monday morning after the 6.30 am Mass and farewell ceremony. Next stop, Coleshill…

  1. The atmosphere was reverent, calm, & peaceful. The organising by the stewards with water provided regularly, cups of tea & coffee & such a caring helpful attitude was miraculous to be part of.
