Continuing in Lancaster…

More than 4,000 people have come to Lancaster so far in order to venerate the relics of St Therese.

Fr Stewart Keeley is not only the diocesan Master of Ceremonies, organising the Liturgy during the time that the relics are in Lancaster. He is also the Lancaster Diocesan Director of Missio (formerly the Pontifical Mission Societies) and has, therefore, a particular interest in Therese as Patroness of the Missions. Fr Keeley preached the homily at the midday Mass before a packed congregation…

Anthony Brown is someone who is in very poor health himself. Yet he made great efforts to travel to Lancaster in spite of his acute pain, in order to pray for a friend and colleague who will have both legs amputated tomorrow. He said that Therese had made it possible for him to travel to Lancaster and Therese would look after him until he returned home this evening. Anthony had a message for others who are sick…
