Children’s Liturgy

Children from schools all over the diocese came to Nottingham Cathedral today for a special children’s liturgy and to learn more about the life of St Therese through interactive dramatised scenes. The actors stood in strategic places around the cathedral and in the grounds. One of them St Therese’s father telling the story of the young child Therese. Another, Pope Leo XIII recounting the encounter he had with Therese when she pleaded with him to let her enter into Carmel. Others included a Carmelite nun and a priest. Groups of children made their way around each scene listening and asking questions
